Heading off on our (Johnny and Davey) 3-day trip north and to Canada, we stopped off at the Pike Place Markets in Seattle and had a look around. We picked up some fruit (I was going to make a reference to the woman's melons here, but this isn't "Are You Being Served?"!) for the trip and had a coffee (it was Seattle, after all, but it wasn't Starbucks!) and then headed north for Everett on route 99. That is route 66 upside down and it was like a Parramatta Road that goes on forever - I told David to take the I5, but he wouldn't listen!
Next we went to the Boeing factory and did a tour of the 777 and 787 Dreamliner production line. I thought it was very interesting, but I am a nerd, so what do you expect?! We are now heading for Burlington, where we will stay the night before taking the ferry over to Canada.
