Spent most of the day sitting out in the glorious Washington sun reading (Chart Throb by Ben Elton) while Davey worked. I did offer to help now and then (quietly, so he couldn't hear me!), OK, maybe I did help just a bit. Later in the afternoon we took the bikes and went for a ride on a nearby bike path - very enjoyable, though we kept losing Will, as he was always stopping to pick blackberries (the fruit kind).
